lyrics
In another life, somewhere far behind all my memories, her and I lived together with the animals and the sunshine, side by side, day after day. Told each other that we would wait in the sunshine, one thousand years, two thousand years, three thousand... Time into time, on a Sunday, at the back of the house there was a rainbow. She stood at the end of the rainbow calling out, her hands raised to the sky, her and I, another Sunday. Then one night there was a party on the roof and she was standing on the roof, she was a memory. Then out on the beach, we waited for the ships on the rocks, we waited in the dark. Some nights, when she was asleep, I'd listen to her breathe, she'd talk about a steam-train. Then, when it was summer, I met her by the lake, said I'd be running late, she said she would wait. Jupiter, Venus, Mars, she was my star, and all the things that spring can bring would make her happy then. To the mountains, to the park, we'd whisper in the dark, holiday, hollow-day, it was a moon day...
Another life, hear her calling.
